Set a voicemail for your real estate business is not as complicated as you may think.
As you will be talking to potential buyers and sellers the voicemail will need to be simple and short.
Setting up the voicemail for your real estate business is simple
We all do it in our personal phones, but now you have a business and you don’t know what to say.
It may seem funny, but I have been asked by newbies in the real estate industry what to say in their voicemail multiple times, so you don’t think I am making this up.
On the other hand I have called many investors and they have long voicemails, explaining everything they do. By the time I get to the message part, I am debating to leave a voicemail or just call later, or never call again. Well, if they have a great deal, I may be calling multiple times in a day.
Also, I have heard people saying the hours when the calls will be returned, and days later I still have not heard back from them.
Don’t overthink it and over do it, just be natural, brief and simple.
My voicemail says: “This is Hector, sorry I missed your call, please leave your name and phone number and I will call you right back”
This is the voicemail that we use for our buyers and sellers, so you may use it for your business or at least something similar that you will feel comfortable with.
There are many providers, but when you are starting out, maximized all the money you can, so use a free method. Use Google Voice, is simple to set up, the only requirement is to have a gmail account.
Set a voicemail for your real estate business is not as hard as it sounds.
Good luck and happy investing
